In Practice 5: 112-119 (1983)
© 1983 British Veterinary Association
Viable alternatives to Immobilon are available for equine anaesthesia in the field. Although sometimes more costly or less convenient to use, they are considerably safer for both horse and veterinary surgeon, provide good operating conditions and all procedures are well suited to general practice.
Note:
I am grateful to Andrew Sharpe for the photography and to Phyllis Osbourn for typing the manuscript.
