Working with SQPs: opportunities for a team approach

Phil Sketchley

TWO-AND-A-HALF years ago the Veterinary Medicines Regulations introduced new medicines distribution categories and new rules for supply. The Regulations are revised and updated each year, and continue to evolve. Here, Phil Sketchley takes a fresh look at who can do what in the new medicines supply environment.

Phil Sketchley has been chief executive of the National Office of Animal Health since April 2002, and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 35 years, including 22 years in the animal health industry. He is on the board of directors of the Animal Medicines Training and Regulatory Authority and of the Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture Alliance. He is also a director of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Trust.
