Thinking outside the box: smarter ways to stamp practice mail

Christine Shield

PRACTICES dispatch a wide range of items on a daily basis, from booster reminders to bulky packages of clinical samples, from drugs to urgent certificates. While some still simply use postage stamps, there are several other ways of paying for your post that have advantages over the traditional.

Christine Shield graduated from Edinburgh in 1983. She works freelance, after having sold the single-handed small animal practice that she ran for 17 years. She is a past-president of the SPVS and the North of England Veterinary Association, and a council member of the RCVS and BVA.
