FOUR years ago, Susie Coughlan found that balancing family life and practice life was becoming increasingly difficult. Not wishing to lose touch with the profession, she and her husband established a company offering CPD courses for veterinary surgeons. In this article, she describes what motivated her to move out of practice, and reflects on a challenging, yet rewarding, few years.
