Conducting a face-to-face appraisal

IN an article in the last issue, Carole Clarke set the scene for staff appraisal, indicating its value in veterinary practice and suggesting how to prepare for the interview. This article discusses the technique for the face-to-face appraisal, highlighting some of the pitfalls to beware of.
