Veterinary pharmacy - the Dutch experience

Impending European legislation on the distribution of veterinary medicines has important implications for veterinarians. Here, DR HENK VAARKAMP, former president of the practitioners' section of the Royal Netherlands Veterinary Association and veterinary director of AUV, the Dutch veterinary surgeons' cooperative, describes the steps that are being taken in the Netherlands to defend the veterinary surgeon's right to dispense.
